To build an IR or RC helicopter, you need to know how to make a helicopter.
Look at images with RC helicopters and analyze atentively the image.
What type of helicopter do you want to build?

For a classic helicopter you need 2 engines: one engine for the primary propeller and one for the antirotor(the antirotor engine(and its motor) is smaller than the engine for the primary propeller). The antirotor is important for direction, so you need the according torque to make the helicopter be stable in air. The primary engine needs a gear(2,3 wheels) to have the necesary power to keep the heli in air. The primary propeller is more complicated and you need pay attention if you want to make one, or you can buy one from the online stores in the section -helicopter compoents-.
As the antirotor, and the primary engine must be calibrated to the necesry torque. You can do this thing with a potentiometer.

A remote control(IR or R/C) helicopter always needs an proportional transmitter and recevier becuse, without it, YOU CAN T CONTROL THE HELICOPTER. The helicopters are copmlicated. The proportional conrol is needed to control the heli up/down, left/right

The framework needs light and resistant materils like the balsa wood or the carbon fiber. Look at a helicopter body and study with attention.
After this, put the components and ballance the helicopter( the ballncing part is very important for the stbility), the center of the lever will be the primary propeller.And after this calibrte the torque of the engines(the antirotor and the primary engine)

To make the helicopter go front, put a small weight in the front side of the heli.
And dont forget, dear friend, dont hurry, pay attention at the each component, and make the heli as much as possible light.

the recever ....i have a one...

my helicopter is function sch can stay in air 5 minutes no left no right ...lol

So, you have made the heli.Congratulations! But, to make the heli steering left or right you need proportional control for this. Two ours ago I have transformed a Sky Challenger IR helicopter into an IR airplane, with the same transmitter and receiver from the heli and the antirotor as the primary engine. The helicopter had some problems when it was flying, the problem was the battery. But now I have put the electronics and i have made a fiber glass propeller like the other from assembly, a bit bigger.

Where can I find a very thin wire(30 or more ohms per meter)for an actuator?
