A1442 Chip Problem

Hi,
I faced another problem....:(
The A1442 chip is unavailable in Kolkata. I have broken an SMPS to get the IC in it. Its number is S176 and operation voltage is 12v.
Now the problem is whenever I powered the micro motor its coil getting hot abnormally.
Please suggest another IC which is available in INDIA....:S

I have found several IC which can be used instead of A1442. Namely,S276 or AH276.

Yes, they can be used instead of the A1442, but the wiring diagram will be different :)
